I have decided to use a Creative Commons License. In more detail: a
Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License.
I know, I know. How arrogant am I that I already am making copyright statements. Whatever do I have that people would bother to use? But I do hope that the value of my work does go up and it’s always best to lay down the groundwork in the beginning of things.
This license pretty much sums up what a decent person should do when using other people’s work irregardless but it’s always nice to have it spelled out.
This particular license means that you are allowed to share, distribute, paraphrase, etc. anything that I have here on my site that is my intellectual property etc. It allows allows for the modification of stuff that you find here so you can adapt what you find to better suit yourself. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery you know. *smile*
You are required to attribute to me whatever it is that you took and/or modified. In the end though, I don’t really mind. If you don’t want to link back or whatever that’s fine *sniff* *sniff* but it is nice.
However… non-authorized commercial use of my intellectual property is something that I very much so frown upon. So there is that in the license I chose.
