- Climbing Up The Ladder
Hopefully I don’t slide down on a snake…
I had my “interview” today with the assistant store manager. Basically I was a shoe in for the spot of assistant deli manager (duh… duh… duh…) and he basically went over how the responsibilities will be much greater and that I need to be aware of that. Whenever Diane (deli manager) is not in the store, I get to run my own show. There will be a lot of work and responsibility for me upon my return from Japan (only a couple more days, yosh!).
I didn’t accept it yet as he wanted me to go over with some scheduling issues with Diane as that was his primary concern but I will tomorrow most likely. As second, I have to be there whenever she’s off. So I’m supposed to be on when she has her days off which will be difficult to arrange as I will be going to school Mon/Wed almost all day. But it will all work out.
This will be a good opportunity for me as well as an increase in income.
Ah… My days are going to be so full. Fulltime work at the deli of the likes I’ve never seen before as well as fulltime schooling at the University of Washington Bothel campus, taking my education to a level that I have yet to experience. I think I’m up to the challenge but yeah… my days will most definitely be full.
